Originally opened by Garry Gibson in 1979, the store changed hands a couple of times before eventually going out of business. Michael Cunningham worked for Gibson throughout high school and after graduation before starting a wildlife-control business (Critter Getter Wildlife Solutions).

Hank Sauce

What started as a graphic design project for three college roommates back in 20211 at Flager College has become well-known on the east coast on beyond. Hank Sauce, celebrating its 10th year in business this year, goes far beyond just hot sauce. The guys first launched their product in Sea Isle City at the Farmers Market in 2011 and then opened a restaurant in the Townsends Inlet portion of town in March 2012.
