Sea Isle Bait & Tackle
Located in the heart of Fish Alley, Sea Isle Bait & Tackle will celebrate its 10th anniversary under its currently ownership on May 1. Originally opened by Garry Gibson in 1979, the store changed hands a couple of times before eventually going out of business. Michael Cunningham worked for Gibson throughout high school and after graduation before starting a wildlife-control business (Critter Getter Wildlife Solutions).
Azzurra Pizza
Azzurra Pizza, a family-friendly, casual-dining restaurant, is now owned and operated by the Deserio family. Francesco (Frank) and his two sons, Giuseppe (Joe) and Leonardo (Lenny), purchased the restaurant last July and have been dishing out favorites to Sea Isle City ever since.
Hank Sauce
What started as a graphic design project for three college roommates back in 20211 at Flager College has become well-known on the east coast on beyond. Hank Sauce, celebrating its 10th year in business this year, goes far beyond just hot sauce. The guys first launched their product in Sea Isle City at the Farmers Market in 2011 and then opened a restaurant in the Townsends Inlet portion of town in March 2012.
Stride Spin & Fitness
Gearing up for its second summer in Sea Isle City, Stride Spin and Fitness offers indoor cycling and rhythmic spin classes from Memorial Day through Labor Day at its studio on the Promenade. Owned and operated by Tori DeSimone, this is the second location for Stride; the flagship location is in Phoenixville, PA.
KD Photography Studios
Sea Isle City local Katie Dalrymple is no stranger behind her lens. Ever since she was in 7th grade, she’s been carrying around her camera to document life as we know it. In 2010, she officially founded her photography business, originally Katie Dalrymple Photography and opened her own store and studio space four years later in 2014.
Island Breeze Casino
Celebrating its 15th anniversary this season over Presidents Day Weekend, Island Breeze Casino is a family affair operated by the Kiska family. The arcade features a variety of redemption and video arcade machines and a diverse selection of prizes for all ages.

Formed in 1946 by Arthur and Louise Laricks, Laricks Real Estate has been built over three generations on the simple principles of excellent customer service and experienced advice. Dustin Laricks grew up in the industry working alongside his grandfather and his father Don.

While the company prints and distributes seasonal tags for municipalities along the Jersey Shore since 1973, they also offer promotional products and business service solutions for companies, organizations, and municipalities.
La Finestra Ristorante
Dine out, order takeout or have it delivered this holiday season with help from La Finestra Ristorante. Owned and operated by the familiar faces behind A Modo Mio Ristorante, Eric Rakaj, Tony Gonzalez and Lenny Alliu offer authentic Italian cuisine in Sea Isle City with beautiful views of the ocean from their dining room.
Groovy Girlz
Whether you are 5 or 95, Groovy Girlz at 3814 Landis Ave. has something for all ages and styles! Family owned and operated by Colleen Buch with help of Elizabeth Buch, Groovy Girlz carries the latest fashion trends and classic styles at affordable prices.
La Fontana Coast
Restauranteur Bujar Daku and his brother Gani Daku have been serving authentic Italian cuisine in Sea Isle City and Strathmere since they opened La Fontana De Mare in Strathmere in 1998. La Fontana Coast followed in its opening at 5000 Landis Avenue.
Sands Department Store
For generations, Sands Department Store has been a family favorite shopping destination for all when visiting Sea Isle City. Located at 6208 Landis Ave. next to the Acme, Sands has been in the Iannone family since its beginning in 1958. Owners Art and Lisa Iannone run the business with help of their two daughters and employees who have become like family.
Giovanni's Delicatessen
Serving Sea Isle City for over 40 years, Giovanni's Deli is a staple in town. John and Mary Beth Libro purchased the business from the original owners Giovanni and Lorraine Ciro and opened in 2016 with the same great quality and recipes of the only Italian-American Deli in town.
Sunsations
Shop the latest looks from Sunsations located at 28 JFK Blvd. this fall. Featuring fashionable tops, comfortable pants, trendy shoes, accessories and so much more, owner Liz Essick always had a flair and passion for fashion.
Seaside Shade Shack
Owner Jared Gaburo celebrated Seaside Shade Shack's 12th season this summer at the store located at the Shoppes at Spinnaker on the Promenade. Gaburo, a longtime employee, purchased the business from the original owners Steve and Shari Massini in 2018 and has revamped the store with expanded premium sunglasses, clothing and accessories.
Fractured Prune Donut Shoppe
The Fractured Prune Donut Shoppe opened its doors in Sea Isle City this summer and customers lined the block to experience the hot, hand dipped confections each morning. Owner Andrew Jenkins expanded into town with its fourth location; there are two in Ocean City and one in North Wildwood.
Playa Bowls
Playa Bowls is best known for its variety of delicious bowls and now you can enjoy them in Sea Isle City. Owner Joe Wallash opened his fifth franchise location of Playa Bowls in Sea Isle City over Memorial Day weekend. He owns locations in Stone Harbor, Cherry Hill, Ocean City and Wildwood and now Sea Isle City.
Carefree Boat Club of South Jersey
Carefree Boat Club of South Jersey offers all of the perks of boating without some of the hassles that can arise when owning a boat. The Club brought its fleet of boats and jet skis to its second location at Sunset Pier this summer.
KarryKlean
Pamela Sachar, a textile designer by trade, opened KarryKlean two years ago after being inspired on a trip to Asia and Europe in 2017. Throughout her travels, she noticed the stores transitioning to more eco-friendly alternatives for shopping bags and quickly realized the potential of such retail bags in the U.S.
Bella Roots Salon
After months of quarantine and the anticipated wait for our salons to reopen, it feels good to be able to freshen up our look for the summer! Bella Roots Salon, formerly known as Salon Shannon Leigh, is under new ownership. Maria McQuillen, who worked at the salon for 10 years, purchased the salon from Shannon O'Rourke last year.
