Carefree Boat Club of South Jersey offers all of the perks of boating without some of the hassles that can arise when owning a boat. The Club brought its fleet of boats and jet skis to its second location at Sunset Pier this summer. Membership Director Sean McNulty grew up spending summers in Sea Isle City and moved back to the area last summer when he opened the location at the Commodore Bay Marina.
The Club opened in Avalon last May with 6 boats and has expanded this summer to include 10 boats and 4 jet skis. The company currently has over 60 members and will cut off its membership at 75 to maintain its 10-1 member boat ratio. When you join Carefree Boat Club of South Jersey, you have access to several different boats, jet skis, amenities, member socials and more. With three different membership tiers available, you can pick the one that best fits your boating needs.
Membership options include: Ski Membership, which gains you access to jet skis only, Bay Membership includes access to jet-skis and boats up to 21' and the Ocean Membership which allows access to our entire fleet including our brand new 26' Cobia Center Console with twin engines. All memberships include winterization, insurance, maintenance, taxes, repairs, you name it. It is as close as you can get to owning a boat or jet ski, without owning the boat or jet ski.
Members also have access to unlimited On-The-Water training so you feel comfortable and confident operating each vessel. There is a full-time, concierge staff, too so when you arrive they will help you load up and get out on the water quickly and when you return you can just get off the boat and head out. The business is open daily through Thanksgiving, so if you are planning to work from home this fall, there is still time to join!
