Celebrating its 15th anniversary this season over Presidents Day Weekend, Island Breeze Casino is a family affair operated by the Kiska family. The arcade features a variety of redemption and video arcade machines and a diverse selection of prizes for all ages.
When Kathy and Stan’s sons, Ryan and Keith were getting ready to attend college, the Kiska’s opened Island Breeze Casino to help put their sons in a position for success. Each family member plays an integral role in the family owned and operated business.
Stan, who now runs Playcade in Atlantic City, provided the original vision, and continues to contribute technical guidance and the mechanical skillset acquired from being in the amusement industry for nearly 50 years. Kathy continues to add a stylish touch and knack for ordering a wide variety of desirable prizes for all ages. Keith, while attending Rutgers Business School, was instrumental in developing the business and its culture, but has since moved on to pursue another career. Ryan started working at Island Breeze at 14 and worked there while pursuing a degree in Environmental Science at Stockton University and a career at NJDEP. In 2019, he left NJDEP to help his parents run Island Breeze full time.
When playing at the Island Breeze Casino, kids enjoy a unique selection of prizes. Throughout the summer, the arcade promotes daily giveaways and always looks to include charitable causes. This season, Island Breeze will be expanding its space and its machines.
Island Breeze Casino will be open Presidents Day weekend but will then close until Easter to complete its expansion. The arcade will reopen Easter weekend from 10am-6pm weather permitting and will expand its hours into the season. For updated information and hours, check out Island Breeze Casino on Instagram.
