For over 55 years, Heritage Surf and Sport has been serving South Jersey as a premier surf and apparel shop with a variety of products for all seasons. Founded by East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame recipient and legendary surfboard shaper Dan Heritage, the shop originated in Sea Isle City and later expanded along the coast with additional locations in Ocean City and Margate. Today, the stores are now owned and operated by second generation family. Brian Heritage follows in his father's footsteps not only as a store owner, but also continues the family legacy as a surfboard shaper and recent inductee into the NJ Surfing Hall of Fame. With more than 51 years' experience, he shapes every board out of the shaping room at the Sea Isle City location. In addition to custom boards and equipment for surfing, Heritage carries an array of apparel and accessories for every season.
The stores are open year-round and their knowledgeable and experienced staff can point you in the right direction when searching for the perfect product. In honor of Polar Bear Plunge weekend, Heritage Surf and Sport is also selling special Polar Bear Beanies in two colors, a black and a light blue. Heritage Surf and Sport is open daily operating under its winter hours Monday through Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.
