The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City, founded in 1940, is situated bayside with beautiful sunset views. The building was rebuilt in 2013 following Hurricane Sandy and has two floors with dining facilities and bar areas for club members to enjoy. In addition to being a popular wedding venue, YCSIC is proud of its long term commitment to youth sailing and teaching skills to the public and local community. Under the leadership of John Duffy, who is now in his third year as the sailing coordinator, the YCSIC offers sailing lessons for kids ages 8-18 taught by US Sailing Association certified instructors. You do not need to be a member or child of a member to learn how to sail at YCSIC. Sailing lessons are offered weekly each summer from mid-June to mid-August and kids learn all of the basics making it a great opportunity for outdoor fun or to make new friends. The cost for sailing lessons is $225 per student who enroll for 1-3 weeks with early registration or $180 for 4 or more weeks.
