Marita's is a 1950s-style ice cream stand, which has been around since 1987. With over 50 ice cream flavors, every sweet-tooth is sure to be satisfied. Marita's also offers homemade specialty flavors which are made on the premises. Try delicious flavors such as Salted Caramel Pretzel and Black Raspberry, which are two of their homemade flavors and some of their best sellers! No need to feel guilty while enjoying your cone! This weekend from Friday, July 19 until Sunday, July 21, Marita's is hosting their 9th Annual, Cones for a Cure. This fundraiser is in support of Cancer research and all proceeds go to The Jimmy V Foundation. This is a three-day consists of music, games, fun, and of course... ice cream! At the conclusion of the event, all funds donated are matched by Marita's, and the combined funds are then donated to The V Foundation. 100 percent of all donations received by The V Foundation go directly toward cancer research and programs.
