Seaside Shade Shack is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Sea Isle City and to celebrate, owner Jared Gaburo hosted a party at the shop on May 11 in addition to completing some recent renovations. The shack underwent an expansion and facelift this winter in preparation for its milestone year. With the newly acquired square footage, Gaburo was able to expand its selection of premium sunglass brands including Oakley, Ray-Ban, Maui Jim and Costa. Last year, when Gaburo purchased the business from former owners Steve and Shari Massini, he also added Maho Shades and Revo to the selection of brands. In addition to sunglasses, the store carries a wide variety of Vera Bradley, charitable jewelry, and upscale clothing line Kenny Flowers featuring a modern take on traditional Hawaiian shirts and beachwear for men and women. One of the brands Gaburo is most excited about this summer is 30A, a clothing company that uses recycled plastic bottles to make shirts. Kick off Memorial Day weekend with store specials and make plans to celebrate Gaburo's 30th Birthday on June 2 with deals, giveaways and goodies in store all day.
