When the brainpower behind Basilicos, Scott Oliver and Vinson Powell, joined forces in 1999, the family owned and operated restaurant was sure to be a success. Fast forward 17 years later, Basilicos is a staple in Sea Isle City for visitors and locals alike. Whether you are craving pizza or seafood, Basilicos has it all. With a wide variety of items on the menu, every member of the family will be able to find something they love. Two of the many favorite dishes include vitello basilicos and pescatore passomonti. The signature veal at Basilicos includes medallions of veal sautéed with jumbo lump crabmeat and artichoke hearts served in a creamy basil sauce tossed with homemade spinach Garganelli pasta. For the beloved seafood meal, shrimp, calamari, little neck clams and mussels are sautéed in oil and garlic and then simmered in a light tomato herb sauce over linguine. Make sure to save room for the homemade dessert too, made fresh every morning. Yum! Basilicos is now open Thursday through Sunday for dinner beginning at 5pm each night. Make a reservation for dinner today!
